Identification of the advantages and disadvantages of PVC steel wire pipes

1. Observe whether the lumen is regular and whether the wall thickness is uniform. The inner and outer edges of high-quality PVC steel wire pipes are uniformly distributed in a standard circular ring wall. Taking a PVC steel wire pipe with an inner diameter of 89mm and a wall thickness of 7mm as an example, the thickest part of the poor quality pipe wall can reach 7.5mm, and the thinnest part is only 5.5mm. Working under high pressure can easily lead to uneven stress on the pipe wall, causing the PVC steel wire pipe to burst or deform, affecting normal use.
2. Observe whether there are bubbles or other visible objects on the wall of the PVC steel wire pipe, and whether it is colorless and transparent. The wall of high-quality PVC steel wire pipes is crystal clear and free of any impurities. The yellowing of defective PVC steel wire pipes may be caused by improper handling, decomposition, aging, or long-term improper storage during the production process.
3. High quality PVC steel wire pipes have no odor of any other petrochemical products except for a slight plastic smell. Poor quality steel wire pipes have an unpleasant and pungent diesel smell, especially in hot summer when people cannot get close to them.
4. High quality PVC steel wire pipes have smooth inner and outer walls and a good hand feel, while low-quality pipes are relatively rough.
5. When measuring the wall thickness, the two ends of the PVC steel wire pipe should be cut off and the middle pipe should be selected as the sample for testing to prevent some illegal manufacturers from making mistakes at both ends of the pipe. The actual wall thickness is thinner than the two ends of the pipe.
6. Cut several centimeters of steel wire at both ends of the PVC steel wire pipe and repeatedly fold the steel wire to test its strength and toughness. Poor quality steel wire will break after folding once or twice, while high-quality PVC steel wire pipes require specialized tools to cut off the steel wire. The quality of steel wire determines the quality of the entire pipe. PVC steel wire pipes with quality problems caused by steel wire are prone to irreversible deformation.
